We were watching t.v. last night and this commercial came on where this mother, was looking through her cupboards to find food for her little daughter. Well she couldn't find any and the little girl had to go to bed without anything to eat. Kirsten just started crying and I asked her what was wrong, and she said that she was sad because that little girl had to go to bed without anything to eat. I told Kirsten that, that was just a commercial and that little girl didn't go
hungry but things like this really do happen. Then she started crying and asking us why things like this happen to little children, and what can we do to help them. She was so ready to change the world that night if Eric and I would have let her. We explained to Kirsten that bad things can happen to good people, and that we should try to help out as much as we can, and so forth. She looked at me as and said what can I do to make a difference mom? I want to make this world a better place and I wish I was older. I'm going to go in my room tomorrow after school and go
through my toys and get rid of the ones I don't play with anymore, and maybe that might make some one happy. I just want Kirsten to know how proud I am of her, for having a big heart and lost of love for people. She is my big helper and I love her very much! GOOD JOB KIRSTEN!
