Heart of Gold!

We were watching t.v. last night and this commercial came on where this mother, was looking through her cupboards to find food for her little daughter. Well she couldn't find any and the little girl had to go to bed without anything to eat. Kirsten just started crying and I asked her what was wrong, and she said that she was sad because that little girl had to go to bed without anything to eat. I told Kirsten that, that was just a commercial and that little girl didn't go hungry but things like this really do happen. Then she started crying and asking us why things like this happen to little children, and what can we do to help them. She was so ready to change the world that night if Eric and I would have let her. We explained to Kirsten that bad things can happen to good people, and that we should try to help out as much as we can, and so forth. She looked at me as and said what can I do to make a difference mom? I want to make this world a better place and I wish I was older. I'm going to go in my room tomorrow after school and go through my toys and get rid of the ones I don't play with anymore, and maybe that might make some one happy. I just want Kirsten to know how proud I am of her, for having a big heart and lost of love for people. She is my big helper and I love her very much! GOOD JOB KIRSTEN!

Talk to the Principal

Well today Eric and I had to meet with Whitnee's Principal about her repeating Kindergarten. We went in thinking that we were going to have a hard time with Mrs. Stomen, because Whitnee's, Kindergarten teacher said that she might not work very well with us. But we went in and talked to her about Whitnee and showed the principal Whitnee's grades, and the work that we got during parent teacher conference and she totally agreed with us. We just have to take her out of school May 1st, so she doesent have to go through all of the testing. And so here we go Kindergarten all over again. Eric and have to look at this way though FREE PRESCHOOL!

Weekend ups and downs.

Saturday I had to go to a funeral of a family friend, I was suposed to hang out with the Reimann Girls but that didn't work out. Anyway the funeral was very nice it was short and sweet, that is what Delene was all about. She was a very good lady and fun to be around. Later after the funeral, I went home and went to bed, and woke up at 5:30 P.M. and was sick so I was up all night long. And I feel bad that I missed church today, but It's kind of hard to go when you are up until 4:30 A.M. :P" I sent the girls with Eric, and later that day we went to mom and dad Reimann's house for family home evening and that is when Jenny tought me how to bog so here I go, we will see how this goes.
